How does Transdev Voordeel work?
Once you’ve activated Transdev Voordeel, you start building discounts for each travel month in that region. Your travel month begins on the day you activate Transdev Voordeel, which can even be in the middle of a calendar month. If you spend more than €20 in a travel month, you’ll receive a 10% discount on your next bus trips for the rest of that travel month. Your discount can even go up to 100% in a single travel month! At the end of the travel month, you automatically start building new discounts. And if you don’t travel for a while, there’s nothing you need to do. You only need to activate Transdev Voordeel once (per region). It’s completely free, and there are no commitments.In the following regions, you can activate Transdev Voordeel for free and start building discounts:
- Transdev Voordeel Amstelland-Meerlanden (AML)
- Transdev Voordeel Gooi en Vechtstreek (GV)
- Transdev Voordeel Haarlem-IJmond (HIJ)
- Transdev Voordeel Noord-Holland Noord (NHN)
You build discounts per region. If you travel in multiple regions, activate Transdev Voordeel separately for each region.
Transdev Voordeel (Noord-Holland)
Valid in Gooi- en Vechtstreek, Haarlem-IJmond, Amstelland-Meerlanden and North Holland North. Discount is calculated per travel month:
- travelled for more than €20? → 10% discount
- travelled for more than €40? → 20% discount
- travelled for more than €60? → 30% discount
If you spend €140 or more, you will even receive a 100% discount. This means you will never pay more than €140 per travel month.

At the moment, Transdev Voordeel only works in Gooi and Vechtstreek. As soon as this discount also works in other Transdev regions, we will of course let our travelers know.

Yes, you can, but we do not recommend it. Digital payment cards are regularly replaced by your bank to prevent fraud. You will not be aware of this, because your bank will not notify you when your digital payment card is replaced. You will no longer be able to see the journeys you have made with your new payment card in your journey overview. After each replacement, you will need to add Transdev Voordeel to your new digital payment card again. You will then start building up your discount again from scratch.
Do you want to be sure that you always travel with Transdev Voordeel? Then add Transdev Voordeel to your physical payment card. Do you really want to check in and out with your digital payment card? Then check regularly whether the discount is still being calculated. You can see this in your travel expenses. -
No, Transdev Voordeel can only be activated in the Transdev app, the app for the region Gooi and Vecht. You can see in the OVpay app that you are traveling with Transdev Voordeel.

No, that is not necessary. You can also use your login details from your personal Connexxion account to log into the Transdev app or on the Transdev website.

1. Download the Transdev app. Search for 'Transdev NL' in the Playstore (Apple) or Google Play Store (Android). You can also activate Transdev Voordeel in your account via the website (mijn.transdev.nl).
2. Do you already have a personal Transdev or Connexxion account? Then you can log into the Transdev app or via the website (mijn.transdev.nl) using those details. If you do not yet have a personal Transdev account, you can create one now very easily in the Transdev app or on the website (mijn.transdev.nl).
3. Now link in your personal Transdev or Connexxion account the NLOV reference of your OVpay trip to your own Transdev (/Connexxion) account. You will find this NLOV reference on your bank statement the day after your travelled with OVpay.
4. Activate Transdev Voordeel and start building up discount.
PLEASE NOTE: Transdev Voordeel only works if you travel with your (mobile) debit card (bank card or credit card). Remember to always travel with the same debit or mobile card.
