Deelfiets Amstelveen and Aalsmeer

Do you not want to walk the last part of your journey between the bus stop and your final destination? Then renting a shared bike an option. At a number of locations in Amstelveen and Aalsmeer, bike sharing from provider FlickBike is available.

The bikes are distinguishable by the red/black of our fast R-net buses. FlickBike makes sure that the shared bikes stay in good condition and that there are enough bikes available at the public transport hubs. There is, therefore, little chance of there not being a bike available.

Bike sharing is a pilot project. Connexxion and Flickbike, in close cooperation with the municipalities of Amstelveen and Aalsmeer and the Vervoerregio Amsterdam, are looking at how bike sharing will become a fully-fledged part of door-to-door travel.

FlickBike

FlickBike is a personalized service for which you can pay after use. The costs are € 1.00 per half hour. Every month, an invoice is drawn up for all your rides. This can be found in the FlickBike app under "My Invoices". You can pay with direct debit (SEPA), Visa or Mastercard.
